How do I place an online order? Click here to review our menu and place an online order.
What methods of payment do you accept? We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. No personal checks will be accepted.
Is my information secure? We use SSL Technology for all transactions involving an exchange of funds. For more information, view our privacy policy.
What kind of events do you cater? We cater for a wide variety of events from platters dropped off at your home or office to white gloved waiters for a 1,000.

Can you create a custom menu or a themed menu? If you can dream it, we can deliver! And, if you have no idea, we can dream it for you. Whether you have a Moroccan, Mediterranean, Seafood or Asian theme or need a special custom menu, we can do it all. Certé's stellar reputation has been built by providing caring, personalized service and first-class International and American cuisine with an emphasis on style, creativity, and freshness.  Our Special Events Catering is privileged to provide catering services to some of NYC's most prestigious names in fashion, corporations, law, and the social register.
Does Certé charge for delivery? We do not charge for delivery if you are inside our delivery area. Areas 1st to 8th Avenues between 42nd and 65th Streets are free delivery. A minimal fee is charged for other areas in Manhattan. Please call for the fee schedule.
Is gratuity included? No. Our service is exceptional, so we happily leave the gratuity for you to include. Our delivery staff works for tips.
Is there a minimum order? No. Only on Sundays. All other days, just order just a coffee, if you like.

What service styles do you offer? Sit-Down, Buffet, Drop-Off
On-Site Delivery & Set-up
With a delivery driver to set up at your home or office, and then we return after the event to pick up any serving items.

Full Service Catering
With professional uniformed staff, servers, and bartenders. We can provide you with chairs, tables, china, glassware, silverware, tents and umbrellas, even arrange for your centerpieces, place cards, and party favors.
What set ups come with orders? Plates, plastic ware, cups, condiments, napkins, cups, straws ... everything you should need! Ceramic is available with advance notice.
Do you provide linens? Yes. We provide the linens at an additional charge.
Will the food be hot? We have been asked this puzzling question by new potential customers several times in any given year. We are told that they have experienced “cold” food that should have been hot from other caterers. The answer is Yes! Hot items will be delivered hot and cold items will be delivered cold. We can't imagine it any other way. We provide you with the choice of wire or metal chafers and also have electric chafers instead of sterno, as some offices do not allow an open flame. Room temperature foods are usually the preferred way some clients order, or order items cold so they could heat them up for their dinner party.
Can I change my order once it has been placed? Depends on the size; however, we are usually able to accommodate most changes made 6-12 hours prior to delivery for smaller drop-off deliveries. Or, immediately after the order is placed. Because we order everything fresh, 48 hours notice is required for larger events.
Do you charge for ceramic dishes
with drop-off deliveries?
No. Only if they are lost. 24 hours notice is required.
What holidays are you available to cater? We are open year round and happy to provide catering on all major holidays. Some holidays require additional charges (i.e. Christmas). 48 hours notice is required.
Do you have vegetarian/vegan meals? Yes, we are able to accommodate all dietary restrictions with proper notice.
Do you have waiters? Yes. The cost of wait staff is based on your location, level of difficulty, facility challenges, your service caliber expectations and budget. The number of wait staff for every event varies because every event has its challenges, so we believe that boiler-plate staffing formulas don't work. If you would like “extra” staff on hand, we're happy to help. Many of our wait staff has been with us a decade or more.
Can you provide tableware & glassware? For a minimum, we can provide a full range of tableware, china, glassware and cutlery. A reasonable hire charge will be made for this service.
What happens if I cancel my order? This is decided on a case by case basis. If the order is already prepared, the full value of the event will be charged.
What do I do if there is a concern upon delivery? Call Certé right away at 212.397.2020. One of our phone representatives can assist you, or ask for your personal Event Designer.
Can you provide special cakes? We normally have fresh cakes in our bakery for ready at a moment's notice. Call to find out what wonderful creations we have on a given day. Give us 24 hours notice and we'll bake up practically any cake or pie you can dream up. Contact us and discuss what you have in mind and we'll give you some ideas with price options.
Do you open corporate accounts? Corporations with strong credit histories are welcome to complete our House Account Form and usually take weeks to set up. We must have a credit card back-up on file in case the account exceeds 30 days.
